Episode 35 - To the Brink and Back

Maria Manna

Maria Manna

As the child of immigrant parents and older sibling, Maria Manna learned how to be responsible early on. From translating conversations from Italian to English for her parents to taking care of her younger siblings, she wasn’t fazed by taking the lead when required.

As she became an adult and a stepmom, however, her world was shaken by a devastating event involving her stepson. The family emergency shook Maria to the core but also made her more cognizant of what was needed to heal.

On this episode of the podcast, Maria discusses her experiences, starting as a child and into adulthood, as well as what made her make the decision to become an ordained minister.
